Ignorance is bliss in many ways.
When you have no idea what you don't know or don't have or even don't want, you probably won't have the urge to achieve the impossibles.
I like that ... but can i ever be contented with what I currently have and not pine for what I can/may have?

there's actually an established theory of materialism by Easterlin that says material desires increase at the same pace as personal wealth thus most people never truly achieve the level of satisfaction they desire from increased income and possessions.
