Bush Walking in Springbrook National Park

My flatmate loves bush walking. After doing a few with her a year ago, I begin to enjoy it too. We haven't had time to bush walk for many months because we were both busy with our theses. Now that we finished writing our theses, we can afford the time to do some bush walking.
Last Saturday, we drove to Springbrook National Park, Mudgeeraba. Springbrook is about 90 minutes drive from Brisbane. We did 2 walks - Purlingbrook Falls Circuit and Warriga Pool (6km), and Natural Bridge Circuit (1km).
We had quite an adventure doing the Purlingbrook Falls Circuit. It was there where we woke up a poisonous snake (luckily didn't get bitten), had a worm stuck in my sock, went through muddy paths and got caught by thorny branches. But it was all worth it! These are some of the pictures (check my flickr account for more):
We did 7 km of bush walking that day ... we were pretty exhausted at the end of the trip.
